Parliament Committee on fuel-and-mining complex, nuclear policy and nuclear security reviewed the Central Committee of mining unions of Ukraine address to the Chairman of our Parliament to revise the budgetary funding of mining industry this year. The Central Committee of mining unions received a response in which the Parliament Committee along with the Ministry of energy and mining industry sharing the concern of employees of mining industry and with the purpose of problems settlement and exclusion of social tension have prepared and submitted their proposals regarding modification of the Law “On Stat Budget of Ukraine for 2015” to Arseniy Yatsenuk, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance, and Budgetary Committee of the Parliament. The Committee specifically proposed to resume the state program “State Support to Mining Companies for Partial Covering of Expenses at Cost Price of finished mining products” with the volume of expenditures 1.3 Billion UAH to ensure production facilities maintenance and wage payments to mine-workers. Besides, it was proposed to proceed with funding of capital construction of mining enterprises at the expense of budgetary funds in the amount of 355 million UAH. The Committee proposed to make provision for the budgetary program “Arrangements on the transfer of social infrastructure objects which are in account of mining enterprises” with the volume of expenditures 125.9 million UAH.
