The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the Law of Ukraine «On making changes in the Law of Ukraine about obligatory state retirement insurance” (with regard to the improvement of the pension provision). The Law extended the women’s right to retire ahead of time at the age of 55.

The Law of Ukraine extended the women’s right to retire ahead of time at the age of 55 through 1 January 2022 if there is a work experience not less than 30 years and provided the dismissal from work.

In this case the scale of pension estimated in accordance with article 27 and taking into consideration article 28 of this Law has decreased by 0.5% for each full or partial month of early retirement.

It should be noted that prior to making these changes such a right was authorized until 1 January 2015.

Besides, the Law extended the time of submittal of the wage certificate for period of any 60 calendar months of a work experience in succession before 1 July 2000.
