Fund of social insurance against industrial accidents will recalculate the insurance payments in accordance with growth rates of the average monthly nominal wage.

The Fund management of social insurance against industrial accidents and non-occupational diseases maintained the proposal of the union part and made a decision of recalculation of the monthly insurance payments for the people injured at production facilities in accordance with growth rates of the average monthly nominal wage in the previous year at the level of 7.9%. Such recalculation was not made before in view of the difficult financial situation in the country and Fund.

After registration of this decision at the Ministry of Justice the repayment of amounts for the previous period to the insured people is expected to get performed in 2015. The total amount of 710,000,000.00 UHA is accumulated to make these payments. Therefore, more than 300 000 disabled people will receive additional material support.   

It should be noted, that the Fund draft budget for the next year was approved during the board meeting.

When forming the items of draft budget expense, the board meeting specified all stipulated by law types of insured people financing at the expense of social insurance against industrial accidents funds in full scope, including regular rise in insurance payments commencing on 1 March 2015.    

With account of the expected revenues and expenditures the estimated deficiency of the Fund can be 939,000,000.00 UHA in 2015. For ensuring of financial stability and deficit covering purposes the board raised a question before the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to increase the rate of a part of a single fee required for obligatory for all state social insurance against industrial accidents and non-occupational diseases for 2015.
