In October 2014, coal-mining companies of Ukraine of all forms of property produced 3.887 mln MT of coal. The Plan was fulfilled by 85.9%, the “drawback” to the established task is 636,700 MT of coal. The indicator of production has become worse by 3.2 mln MT as compared with October 2013.

All coal-mines subordinated to the Ministry of Power and Coal produced 817,900 MT of coal. It was produced less by 1.3 mln MT of coal compared to October last year.

Such on-line coal production data was submitted by the Ministry of Power and Coal Industry of Ukraine.

Coal-mining companies of Ukraine of all forms of property produced 57.315 mln MT of coal for period ten months of 2014. The Plan was fulfilled by 94.1%, the “drawback” to the established task is 3.589 mln MT of coal. At the same time the coal-miners reduced their results by 11.3 mln MT of coal compared to the same period of the last year.

Actual production indicator of state owned mines was 16,184.80 mln MT of coal from January through October 2014, and the “drawback” to the established task was 3.3 mln MT of coal. The total result reduced by 3.4 mln MT of coal as compared to the production volume for 10 month period of 2013.

​On 2 November 2014, the employees of “Blagodatnaya” mine of “DTEK PavlogardCoal” management of “Heroes of the Space” fulfilled the annual coal production task 45 days ahead of schedule compared to 2013. The energy fuel volume is 1,487 mln MT. This achievement has brought “DTEK PavlogardCoal” management nearer to the fulfillment of the annual plan that is a guarantee of timely wage payment to 4000 mine-workers of towns of Pavlograd and Ternovka, as well as in Pavlograd area and social stability in the Western Donbas region.    

Coal production at “Blagodatnaya” mine has been performed by employees of two production and tunnellers’ sections. Drift miners of this mine have passed more that 6.5 km of mine working for 10 months of 2014. Average daily coalface load has been 2,235 MT since the beginning of the year.
