Inter-Factional deputy’s Association “Protect Mining Industry” was set up at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Oleg Musiy has become the leader of this association and it numbers 23 people’s deputies.

The purpose of Inter-Factional Association creation is to ensure the unified coordinated state policy in the solution of mining industry issues, consolidation of legislative and executive power efforts to develop Ukrainian mining industry. “Mining industry status directly impacts on power security of the country, its independence from foreign resources. A lot of problems requiring urgent solution accumulated due to the improper power attention to the mine-workers problems. Mines need to get invested for the upgrade, examination and development of new coal beds. Wages debts repayment, timely payment for supplied products, balanced cost of Ukrainian coal, maximum loading of Thermal Power Plants with the domestic coal are still outstanding issues which should be solved as soon as possible”, – said Oleg Musiy. 

     Control over the implementation of coalition decision as for guarantees of the state support to mining companies, development and implementation of legislative initiatives required for the development of mining industry, simplification of regulatory system to attract private investments for the production upgrade, effective usage of the national resources and facilities, and operational solution of mining issues.
